Here is a list of some great apps to use in your setting. I know there are a few I will be downloading.

WordFoto

In my ipad after school club session today we used an app called WordFoto.This app takes your photos and turns them into artwork made from layers of words. The children really enjoyed using this app and the results were really good.

A great app called Puppet pals

The children in my class have been using a brilliant new app in school this week called puppet pals. It allows you to pose characters, make them walk around and interact with vehicles, locations and props. It also moves their mouths automatically in sync to your voice! Puppet pals is perfect for book reports, language and story development, storyboarding, creative brainstorming, second language practice and countless other uses. I would definitely recommend this app to others.

Getting word to help with referencing!

Technology in my setting!

In my school setting we are fortunate enough to use a variety of technology. In every classroom we have 2/3 computers, a whiteboard and one ipad. There are also 10 other ipads that are kept in a central location and can be used by anyone when required. We also have an imac, two kindle fires, bee bots and talking tins. Technology is part of the children's every day life in my school setting.

Snipping Tool!

I learnt how to take a screen shot using the snipping tool.You can capture an image, a photo of a Webpage, or just about anything else on your computer screen. You can even email the image (if you use Microsoft Mail) or save it, even paste it into a document in another program.
